Yıldızların Tembelliği
THE IDLENESS OF STARS

Behiç Ak

Editor: Müren Beykan

Stories that wander between the ordinary and the absurd...

In his stories, which could be both funny and dramatic, Behiç Ak takes the reader on a journey through the labyrinths of memory. The book, consisting of extraordinary examples of the art of storytelling, where subtle humour is intertwined with compelling philosophy, holds up a mirror to lives that waver between the normal and the absurd. While showing that the ordinary can be surprising and unsettling, it takes truths, distorts them and turns them inside out. Among the pages that sometimes trace ludicrous or hilarious emotions, The Idleness of Stars Law in astronomy winks at us: “Every star maintains its most idle state and moves within those limits.”
