Overview
When Zeyno’s both parents lose their jobs, it becomes very difficult to continue living in a big city. An old family friend, Uncle Selçuk, invites them to his garden house in a small town by the sea. While Zeyno’s father goes fishing together with Uncle Selçuk, her mother starts to work through internet. Zeyno gets used to the life in this small town. Her friendship with her new schoolmate Neşe and their explorations throughout the town introduces them to new and warm emotions

Ahmet Büke was born in Manisa in 1970. He studied Economics and Administrative Sciences in Dokuz Eylül University. He received 2008 Oğuz Atay Story Award with his book Alnı Mavide (2008) and 2011 Sait Faik Story Award with his book Kumru’nun Gördüğü (2010). Büke’s stories were published in several literary magazines and they’re reminding us that the life goes by with many bittersweet, weird and strange details.
