CASSANDRA’S MOUNTAIN
Vladimir Tumanov
Even when no one believes you, you can still change the future.
Canadian author Vladimir Tumanov, who reached millions of readers not only in Turkey but in many countries, opens the door to a real adventure from recent history in his novel, published in Turkish for the first time in the world. Inspired by Cassandra, the ancient seer from Western Anatolian mythology whose warnings were never believed, this gripping adventure compels readers to consider the consequences of environmental destruction. With a masterful narrative, Tumanov weaves the relentless struggle of a child trying to save their loved ones with the heartbreaking story of a family mercilessly excluded by their community. The novel presents courage, solidarity, and unwavering hope as powerful forces against rulers who endanger social life for the sake of their interests. Known for his imaginative books that make math and geography enjoyable, Tumanov continues to attract not only children but also teachers and parents alike.
