Ahmet Beykan

He was born in İstanbul in 1955. He graduated in 1981 from the Faculty of Architecture at İstanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (now Mimar Sinan University). He founded Vela Architecture and Design Company. Beykan, who creates designs across different fields, from architecture to furniture, also pursues painting and scuba diving. He lives in İstanbul with his wife, Müren Beykan, and has two daughters.
