THE HEART OF THE STORY

Ömer Açık

The story of those who want to choose their books on their own...

Ömer Açık, who is loved for his compelling storytelling, opens up our book choices and reading tendencies to discussion. While questioning the “pressure to read” applied to children, he tells a school story around the sweet conflict between the “stubborn old” and the “brave new”. The novel, which conveys the eye-opening and liberating power of reading, reminds readers of all ages of the importance of giving innovations and change a chance.
