Overview

When her father decides to leave the big city and settle in the countryside, Sena finds herself in a life she’s not used to. Neither the wooden doll her father made nor the treehouse in the garden can ease her longing for her old friends. While the family struggles to find buyers for their organic apples, which both birds and worms love to eat, a cunning broker begins to linger around. The unusual horse Sena encounters in the forest and secretly brings home, along with a violent storm, will upend the family’s plans…

Serhan Ok

He was born in 1984 in Kayseri. After completing his education in Industrial Engineering at Bilkent University, he earned a master’s degree in anthropology from Yeditepe University. He also received training in psychology. The author, who teaches branding and advertising courses at Marmara and Bahçeşehir Universities, serves on the board of Yanındayız (We Stand by You) Association, which focuses on gender equality.
