Fakir Baykurt

Fakir Baykurt was born in 1929. After graduating from the university, where he studied teaching, he worked as a secondary school teacher and then as a school inspector. Baykurt received many awards with his stories and novels. He died in 1999, in Germany, where he lived for long years in the last period of his life.
