Büşra Kaygın Gafarov

Büşra Kaygın Gafarov was born in 1989 in Istanbul. She has graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Department of Graphic Art and Design. After working in the advertising industry, she started to illustrate children’s books. In addition to designing numerous illustrated books and covers, she also produces works in linocut carving and printmaking. For Günışığı Kitaplığı, she collaborated with author Şener Şükrü Yiğitler on the children’s story Swett Dreams, Sleep Tight (Derin Uykular Tatlı Rüyalar, 2024). Being an avid enthusiast of analog photography, Gafarov lives in Istanbul with her artist husband and their daughter.
