Cahit Ökmen, educator and owner of important national poetry awards, is this time speaking with the words and feelings of children. Reflecting the cheerful voices, arch smiles, wondering eyes and even the worries of childhood to his poems with a simple and effective language, Ökmen’s verses are appealing not only to children but also to the never growing child hidden in every adult. Covering 27 poems that are reinterpreted by the wonderful illustrations of Sadi Güran, the book offers also a visual fest to the reader.
