Overview

Fırat and his family are members of Flying Carpet Theatre. Beginning of every summer, children and their families pile into the tour bus and hit the road for staging plays in various cities. That summer famous actress Mehtap Aycan is joining to the group too! While Fırat’s desire for writing detective plays and his dreams of becoming a detective together with his bestie Deniz continue, there is a discussion going on about who will play the Pinocchio. But something unexpected happens at Bergama stop. The theatre-lover group really needs a detective now…

Sevgi Saygı, was born in 1957 in İzmir, graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Cinema and Television. She worked as assistant film director with famous movie director Atıf Yılmaz and wrote several film scripts. Saygı is currently writing books for children and young adults. Her first children’s novel Where Did Dad Go? (Babam Nereye Gitti?, 2009) is followed by What’s Happening to My Uncle? (Amcama Neler Oluyor?) and Mystic Days (Gizemli Günler).
