Overview

Sitting on one of the stools arranged alongside the window, I was following her out of the corner of my eye while taking notes in my notebook about the film I watched the night before. I was trying to figure out what exactly I feel for her and if it is love, but I was unable to name it. Maybe I was too much lonely and I was seeking a feeling to hold onto. But anyway, what is called as love? A small window that is opened in your tedious life, a possibility that’s now due. Although I was not yet in love with Şermin, it was possible for me to like her, even to fall in love with her.

She was born in İstanbul. She studied Business Administration in Boğaziçi University. She received prestigious 2013 Haldun Taner Story Award for her first story book İçeri Girmez miydiniz ? published in 2012. She continued to write her stories and participated in outstanding story collections prepared for adults and children too. In 2015, Önderoğlu prepared two compilations.
