Overview

Whole adventure started with a newspaper ad: “Detective Assistant Wanted.” During summer holiday, Mustafa wants to work in the bureau of private detective Ömer Hepçözer –his father’s long time policeman friend. But he immediately finds himself in the middle of trouble. Something strange is happening to the major monuments in Istanbul. Some thieves seem to have incredible plans on… the city itself!

She was born in Eskişehir in 1959. She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Economics and worked in the banking sector for long years. Her articles were published in various literary journals, and she also made translations. Her books Ablamı Nereye Kaçırdılar (2006), and When Fleas Were Barbers and Camels Were Brokers (Berber Pire Tellal Deve, 2008) published by Günışığı Kitaplığı, received awards.
