Overview

Class 6A gets into a total chaos when the notebook of their math teacher Fussy Filiz disappears all of a sudden. If the notebook is not found, they will all be punished with bad grades. Thinking that they do not deserve such a punishment, children go after finding the notebook. The anxious quest not only brings out the good and bad in them but also causes them to reevaluate their friendships. Meanwhile, while the neighborhood bakery is surrounding a group of friends with its reassuring smells, the weed-grown garden in the place of the old house begins to whisper the unforgettable memories that Fussy Filiz has kept secret…

She was born in Eskişehir in 1959. She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Economics and worked in the banking sector for many years. Her articles were published in various literary journals and she has translation works. Her books Ablami Nereye Kacirdilar published in 2006, and Berber Pire Tellal Deve (When Fleas were Barbers and Camels were Brokers) published by Günışığı Kitaplıği in 2008, received awards.
