Overview

Nisan could hardly get the permission to take Karaböcü along with her when she goes for the summer vacation with her grandparents . While playing on the beach with her kitten Nisan meets İlayda and her “special” kitten Pembe Öcü. Karaböcü rescues Nisan who is carried away to the open sea by the wind. But this frightening accident causes Nisan’s grandparents to keep a close eye on her for the rest of the vacation. Nisan who is bored to death is delighted when she learns that they will go to an amusement park. She thinks that she will have great fun with Karaböcü that she secretly takes in the car…

Niran Elçi

She was born in 1971 in Rize. She was graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 1992 and worked as an executive in the private sector for many years. Elçi translated numerous books from English to Turkish. She started writing for children with the best loved “Karaböcü” series consisting of four books (ill. Gözde Bitir).
