Oh No, Books!
Mine Soysal
Why the children and young adults say “Oh, no!” to books?
Writer Mine Soysal, who has conducted interactive meetings with thousands of students about their reading habits and preferences, wrote this book based on her inspirations and observations. Thirty-two genuine stories that approach the concepts of “book” and “reading” from the view points of children and young adults brings up to discussion what is being experienced in the children’s and young adults literature in Turkey in recent years. The book contains surprising, thought-provoking and even some funny stories related to the “reading” experiences of youngsters.
