Overview

Seren’s father is a shipmaster. After every voyage, he comes back home with his bag full of various interesting gifts he picked up from the places he visited. This time, the big gift was a frisky dog with coal black hair. They named this lovely dog as Çiko. Aspiring to work in a circus when she grows up, Seren wanted to go to a circus on her birthday, with her close friend Cemo. As if it was not enough for Seren to be regarded as an acrobat, another surprise about Çiko was awaiting them…

Füsun Çetinel

She was born in İstanbul. Çetinel graduated from the English Language Teaching Department of Boğaziçi University. She works as an instructor and facilitator in writing workshops in Turkey and abroad. Her stories and articles are being published in various literary magazines and online platforms.
