Overview
Duygu is the young daughter of a separated couple. She had been living apart from her mother for six years. With the disappointment of her failure in the university entrance exams and her father’s new marriage, she decides to go visit her mother in Ayvalık. She plans to gather herself together in this trip and start a new life with her mother. But a young man she meets on the way and things waiting to be discovered in Ayvalık upsets all of her plans.

She was born in İstanbul. She studied Business Administration in Boğaziçi University. She received prestigious 2013 Haldun Taner Story Award with her first story book İçeri Girmez miydiniz ? published in 2012. She continued to write her stories and participated in outstanding story collections prepared for adults and children too. In 2015, Önderoğlu prepared two compilations.
